In order to pursue higher education, Mr. Brand moved to California to attend the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. While completing his undergraduate degree studies, Mr. Brand traveled overseas as an exchange student and spent eight months living in Milan, Italy, studying at the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. After having completed his undergraduate studies, Mr. Brand enrolled at Loyola Law School, after which he was admitted into the California State Bar.
Mr. Brand has approached his work with great intensity to persistently update his knowledge base. His intelligence and enthusiasm have been instrumental in mastering the arcane and complex elements of California Workers' Compensation law. His vast Trial experience, near perfect success rate at appeals and resolution of the most catastrophic cases, through creative, multi-year, structured settlements, highlight his mastery of the field.
Mr. Brand is currently admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for the Central District of California. From a young age, Mr. Brand has been a member and volunteer for the YMCA and now, in his limited free time, he enjoys swimming, golfing, training his German Shepherd and attending sporting events.
